By using the IP lookup at ipapi.mimso.co.uk you agree to the following. They are short on purpose.

The service

• The API and the lookup site are provided free of charge with no SLA, no uptime guarantee, no support obligation.
• No API keys, no signup. There is no hard rate limit; please cache responses where you can.
• Endpoints, response shapes and behaviour can change. Material breaking changes are noted in the docs changelog.

Fair use

• Don't use the service to harass, dox, stalk, or target individuals.
• Don't try to degrade availability for other users with sustained heavy traffic. We may throttle or block obvious abuse without notice.
• Don't pretend the dataset is your own work if you republish it. Cite the service.

Accuracy

• Geolocation from IP is approximate. Don't make load-bearing decisions (financial, legal, safety) on it.
• VPN, proxy and Tor signals are best-effort and can be both false positive and false negative.
• Abuse contact and registry data come from public RIR records. They may be stale.

Contributed locations

• If you submit your location via the consent prompt, you confirm the device making the request is yours and that the rough location reflects roughly where you are.
• Only your town or city is stored, alongside your IP. See the privacy policy for the full list.
• You can remove your contribution at any time from the privacy page or by emailing [email protected].
• We may remove or correct contributions at our discretion if they appear to be junk, vandalism or wildly inconsistent.

Liability

The service is provided as-is. We aren't liable for any loss, damage, missed opportunity or other consequence arising from use of the data or the site. If a response is wrong, sorry, but please don't sue.

Changes

We may revise these terms. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continuing to use the service after a revision counts as acceptance.
